Technical Manager - Residential DevelopmentSouth London | 85,000 - 95,000I'm currently recruiting for a Technical Manager to join a residential developer on a major scheme in South London.The project is a large-scale RC frame development of around 500 residential units across multiple blocks. The scheme is currently at Stage 3 design, so this is a great opportunity for someone to come in at an early stage, take ownership of the technical side of the project and see it through to delivery.You'll be joining at an important point in the development, with responsibility for taking the scheme through the Gateway process, developing the technical strategy, building out the project team and ultimately overseeing the technical delivery of the site.The role will involve:Taking ownership of the technical delivery of a large-scale residential RC frame schemeManaging the project through Stage 3 design and into constructionLeading the Gateway application process and ensuring the project meets all relevant technical and regulatory requirementsManaging design development, consultants and technical coordinationWorking closely with the wider development, commercial and construction teamsHelping to build the technical/project team as the scheme progressesProviding technical leadership through procurement, mobilisation and deliveryIdentifying and resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycleWhat I'm looking for:3-5 years' experience operating at Senior Technical Manager / Technical Manager levelStrong experience working on large-scale residential developmentsBackground with either a residential developer/client or a Tier 1/Tier 2 main contractorStrong understanding of RC frame construction and technical deliveryExperience working through design development and into constructionBSR / Building Safety Act experience is highly desirableSomeone confident taking ownership of a project and working autonomouslyThis would suit someone who is looking for a role with genuine responsibility and the opportunity to get involved early in a major residential scheme, rather than stepping into a project that is already well into construction.85,000 - 95,000 + package
