Project Manager - Groundworks & Civils

Project Manager – Groundworks & Civil Engineering Leeds Long-Term Opportunity | Immediate Start We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established contractor delivering a major groundworks and civil engineering package in Leeds. This is a long-term opportunity for a hands-on individual with a strong groundworks background and proven experience delivering projects safely, on programme, and within budget. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing site operations from mobilisation through to completion, overseeing programme delivery, site teams, subcontractors, commercial performance, and client relationships. Key Responsibilities: * Managing day-to-day delivery of groundworks and infrastructure packages including earthworks, drainage, foundations, roads, utilities, and external works * Producing and managing construction programmes using Asta, MS Project, or similar * Coordinating site teams, engineers, subcontractors, plant, and materials * Monitoring programme, costs, resources, and project performance * Identifying and resolving programme or site issues proactively * Leading site meetings and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships * Ensuring all works are delivered safely and to required quality standards Requirements: * Proven experience as a Project Manager within groundworks and civil engineering * Strong programming and planning capability * Good technical understanding of earthworks, drainage, foundations, roads and sewers, and external works * Strong leadership, communication, and commercial awareness * SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), and First Aid preferred What’s on Offer: * Long-term secured work * Competitive salary or day rate, depending on experience * Immediate start available * Opportunity to join a contractor with a strong regional workload If you have the right groundworks and civils background and are looking for your next long-term opportunity in Leeds, we want to hear from you.
