Loading Shovel Operator

Driver Hire Dundee & Perth are currently recruiting for an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to join our client based in Dundee. This role is based within a busy waste management facility, operating in the waste hall and supporting the wider site team with daily operations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and experienced operator looking for 6 weeks work with a well-established company. The Role As a Loading Shovel Driver, your duties will include: * Operating a loading shovel within a waste hall environment * Moving and loading waste materials safely and efficiently * Feeding materials into processing equipment * Maintaining safe working practices at all times * Carrying out basic daily machine checks * Supporting the site team with general operational duties as required * Working as part of a team in a busy waste management facility Requirements To be considered for this role you must have: * A valid Loading Shovel qualification (such as NPORS, CPCS or equivalent) * Previous experience operating a loading shovel in an industrial, recycling, or waste environment * A strong awareness of health and safety procedures * The ability to work reliably within a busy operational site * Good communication and teamwork skills Pay & Benefits * £19.61 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay * Weekly pay through Driver Hire * 6 weeks work with a reputable employer * Support from your dedicated Driver Hire team * Opportunity to secure longer term work Apply Now If you are an experienced Loading Shovel Driver looking for your next opportunity in Dundee, we’d love to hear from you.
