Commercial Manager-Swindon/Remote-£Freelance Rate 6 Month Contract Hi All! We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a major Civils Contractor who have secured a large Hydro Electric Power scheme in Scotland which includes Building, MEP and Civils works (new Road Construction). They are therefore looking for a Commercial Manager to work on this from their office in Swindon with some remote working also. Duties to include the below: Submit and secure applications to maximise cash income Prepare or approve subcontractor payments to ensure compliance with terms Produce accurate and timely forecasts and monthly reports to demonstrate contract performance Prepare communications to ensure that timely and effective replies are sent Monitor commercial and contract performance to ensure prompt and focussed corrective action Systematically review and validate incoming information Ensure that local teams and workloads are balanced Mentor subordinate staff Lead regular commercial meetings internally or with client To be considered you will have a minimum of an HNC in Quantity Surveying and will be an experienced Commercial Manager who has headed up major infrastructure projects throughout your career. In return a top day rate (to be discussed) is on offer along with this being Outside IR35 and comes with a 6 month contract.
