£38k + benefits Introduction CV Screen is recruiting for a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to join a well-established charitable organisation based in Newcastle. This 12-month fixed-term position offers a salary of circa £38,000 plus an excellent benefits package. Working predominantly from the office, you will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, payroll processes and operational finance activities. The organisation has been supporting local communities for many years, employs a sizeable workforce across the region and is recognised for its supportive culture and commitment to staff development. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional seeking a varied and rewarding role.
Duties & Responsibilities Produce monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts and financial reports
Support month-end and year-end accounting processes and reconciliations
Oversee purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control activities
Assist with payroll processing and staff payroll queries
Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and improve processes
What Experience is Required Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
Strong knowledge of management accounts, reconciliations and month-end reporting
Experience using Xero, Sage Payroll and advanced Excel skills would be advantageous
