Temporary Contract: Mid-September – End of December
Tuesday to Saturday:  05:30-14:30
Hourly Rate: £13.50-£14.00 per hour 

Join One of the UK's Largest Peak Operations
Pertemps is recruiting for a Seasonal Shift Coordinator  to support the delivery of one of Royal Mail's busiest parcel operations during the Christmas peak.
Working alongside the Hub Management Team, you'll help coordinate a large temporary workforce, ensuring every shift is fully staffed, workers are supported throughout their assignment, and the operation runs safely and efficiently.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Shift Coordinator you'll be responsible for the smooth running of your allocated shift, including:

• Managing the attendance of temporary workers.
  
• Signing workers in and out each shift.
  
• Managing no-shows, lateness and absence.
  
• Contacting replacement workers to maintain staffing levels.
  
• Supporting new starters and ensuring they settle into their roles.
  
• Carrying out regular welfare checks with temporary workers.
  
• Supporting payroll by ensuring attendance records are accurate.
  
• Completing shift reports and communicating key updates during handovers.
  
• Helping to deliver workforce targets across a 24/7 operation.

Full training will be provided.
Project Timeline

• Contract Start: Week commencing 5th October
