We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Corporate Health & Safety Adviser to join the London Borough of Newham on an interim basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping and driving health and safety excellence across one of London's most diverse and ambitious local authorities. Based within the Community Safety and Integrated Enforcement service, you will lead on corporate health and safety initiatives, ensuring robust compliance, effective risk management, and a positive safety culture across council services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation and review of corporate health and safety policies, procedures and strategies.
• Manage and mentor a team of two Corporate Health & Safety Advisers.
• Provide expert health and safety advice to senior leadership teams, directors and key stakeholders.
