Assistant Finance Manager - Part Time | Manchester
An established and growing organisation in Manchester city centre is seeking an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join their finance team on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working in a varied role within a collaborative and purpose-driven environment.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the finance function and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and improving processes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Management accounts support
Balance sheet reconciliations
Payroll support
Grants and funding reporting
Sales and commercial reporting
Supporting system and process improvements
Assisting with purchase order implementation
Sage Line 50 finance administration
About You
The business is looking for someone who can quickly integrate into the team and operate with minimal supervision.
You will ideally have:
Previous experience within a charity or not-for-profit environment
Strong reconciliation and month-end experience
Experience using Sage Line 50
A practical and proactive xwzovoh approach
Excellent communication skills
QBE or AAT

Manchester city centre location
Hybrid working available
Flexible part-time structure:
3-4 full days OR 5 shorter day
Salary equivalent: £35,000-£40,000 FTE
