Financial Controller

RECfinancial has been engaged on an exclusive basis to recruit a Financial Controller for a well-established Leicester-based business. The role is commutable from Leicester, Hinckley, Loughborough, Nottingham, Corby and Kettering. A major Sage Intact implementation is planned, alongside a continued focus on improving reporting, controls and finance processes. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Financial Controller will lead and manage the finance function, overseeing a well-established finance team. This person will take ownership of all aspects of management and financial accounts, alongside responsibility for month-end reporting, balance sheet ownership, financial controls, team development and process improvement. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong technical accounting skills, previous team management experience and the ability to improve finance processes and controls.  This opportunity offers significant autonomy and visibility across the business.
