They’re now expanding their Building Safety function – and they’re looking for a Building Regulations Principal Designer ready to take charge and influence the direction of projects city-wide.

The Role

As Building Regulations Principal Designer, you’ll oversee compliance from Gateway 1 through to Gateway 3, ensuring designs meet and exceed regulatory expectations. You’ll advise clients, coordinate with the Building Safety Regulator, and be at the centre of Manchester’s most technically challenging developments.

Your focus:

• Lead Building Regulations compliance under the Building Safety Act
• Liaise with regulators, clients, and design teams
• Manage design risk documentation and submissions
• Support internal strategy as this division continues to grow

Requirements:

• In-depth understanding of Building Regulations and Building Safety Act
• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent
• Strong experience delivering CDM and design safety duties
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
