Pensions Partner / Legal Director - Succession Role

This UKHQ international law firm is seeking a Pensions partner to join their established team as part of a succession planning process.

The firm has offices across the UK including two in Scotland which arelong established and who work seamlessly with the English pensions lawyers as one team.The Scottish team has excellent associate and senior associate support who benefit fromtop quality work from both sides of the border.

The team is involved inthefull range of pensions adviceincludingplenty of novel work– de-risking,derivativehedging,superfunds,investmentand trustee advisory work. They also work with the wider regulatory team on SIPP and SSAS products, again advising trustees and providers.Clientsgenerallyincludemajor employersacross a range of sectors(both privateandpublic sector),trusteesandother stakeholders.

Due to upcoming changes in the team there is a clear gap for a new partner. This could either be someone already based in Scotland or potentially an E&W qualified partner looking to move north of the border.
