About the role

Head of People London, UK | Reporting to: Group CFO | 4+ Days Office-Based with International Travel We deliver 1–9 month business financing with daily or weekly repayments, and 90% of completed applications receive an offer within 4 hours. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced people professional ready to build and scale a global HR function at pace. Reporting to the Group CFO, you'll develop and deliver Elect's people strategy — covering organisational design, performance culture, learning and development, employee engagement and HR operations — across multiple international jurisdictions. You'll also play a key role in supporting new office launches as the business continues to expand internationally. The role is based in London and requires regular international travel, including approximately two visits per year to each of our operating geographies: Build and embed a high-performance culture through clear objectives, regular feedback and consistent performance management Design and implement learning and development programmes that support career progression and organisational capability Lead and develop the Group's people function, covering recruitment, onboarding, development and employee experience Establish and embed HR processes, policies and standards across multiple international jurisdictions Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice in all operating markets, working with local advisors where appropriate Drive improvements in HR systems, data and operational efficiency Support change management as the business scales Build strong relationships across the Group through regular international travel 7+ years' experience in HR, People or Talent leadership roles ~ Proven experience building and leading People functions within a high-growth business ~ Strong knowledge of performance management, organisational design and leadership development ~ Confident balancing strategic projects with day-to-day operational delivery ~ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders ~ Commercial mindset with the ability to align people initiatives to business objectives ~ Experience improving HR processes, systems and operational efficiency ~ Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis ~ Partnership with the Group CFO and executive leadership team A high-performance culture built on pace, ownership and commercial thinking Competitive salary, performance incentives and long-term career development
