And we believe great performance and genuine hospitality should go hand in hand.If you want to build meaningful products, solve real problems and make a genuine difference for local businesses, we’d love to hear from youYour Mission As a Principal / Staff Product Designer – Onboarding, you will be a senior individual contributor leading design for high-impact growth initiatives across the customer lifecycle—from acquisition and activation to engagement, monetization, and retention.This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, experimentation, and systems thinking. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Marketing to identify growth opportunities, run experiments, and scale what works—while raising the bar for design quality and craft across Teya.What You’ll DoOwn and drive design strategy for growth initiatives across web and product surfacesLead end-to-end design for complex, ambiguous growth problems—from discovery to delivery and iterationPartner with Product Managers, Engineers, Data Scientists, and Growth Marketers to define hypotheses, experiments, and success metricsTranslate insights from data, user research, and experimentation into clear design direction and impactful solutionsDesign and refine onboarding, activation flows, pricing and packaging, upsell/cross-sell experiences, and lifecycle touchpointsBalance rapid experimentation with high-quality, scalable design solutionsInfluence product and growth strategy through strong design thinking and storytellingContribute to and evolve Teya’s design system to support speed and consistency at scaleMentor and coach other designers, raising the overall design maturity of the organizationAct as a design leader without formal people management—setting standards, shaping culture, and leading by exampleWhat We’re Looking For8+ years of experience in product design, with significant experience in growth, experimentation, or funnel optimizationProven track record of designing products that drive measurable business impact (e.g. activation, conversion, retention, revenue)Strong understanding of experimentation frameworks, metrics, and data-informed decision-makingExceptional craft across interaction design, UX, and visual designAbility to simplify complex problems and communicate clearly with cross-functional partnersExperience working in fast-paced, product-led environments (fintech experience is a plus, not a requirement)Comfort operating at both strategic and hands-on levelsStrong leadership and influence skills, with a collaborative and pragmatic mindsetNice to HaveExperience designing for SMBs, payments, or financial productsFamiliarity with growth tooling, analytics platforms, or A/B testing frameworksThe PerksFlexible working hours—we trust you to manage your time.Physical and mental health support through GymPass: free access to 1,500+ gyms in the UK, 1-1 therapy, meditation sessions, digital fitness and nutrition apps.Extended and improved maternity and paternity leave choices for flexibility and support.Cycle-to-Work Scheme.Health and Life Insurance.Pension Scheme.25 days of Annual Leave (+ Bank Holidays).Office snacks every day.Friendly, comfortable, and informal office environment in Central London.Teya is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, or background can thrive and do their best work.
