The company has a mix of production and exploration assets, some fully owned and some partially owned through a Joint Venture structure. The business has been in operation for over 30 years and after bringing online a new asset will see significant growth in the next 5 years.Your new roleReporting to the Group FD, this role will take ownership of all Financial and JV reporting for the listed group, including audits and statutory accounting.

The role will also have commercial exposure to budgets and forecasts.Duties include:Production of year-end, half year and quarterly financial statementsJoint venture accounting and JV budgetsOwnership of audit process including audit liaison with Big 4 firmPreparation and filing of UK VAT returnsWhat you'll need to succeedYou will need to be a qualified accountant ideally with listed Oil & Gas or engineering industry experience.
