Assistant Estimator - Main Contractor

Assistant Estimator – Office-Based Role We are seeking an Assistant Estimator with at least 1–2 years’ experience, ideally gained with a main contractor, who is looking to progress into an Estimator role. This is an office-based position located in Bury St Edmunds, with travel required across the East Anglia, South East, and Midlands regions for site visits. The role involves working on projects within the retail and leisure sectors, including: * Store refurbishments and fit-outs * Extensions and conversions within the hospitality sector A significant proportion of work is secured through framework agreements, meaning many projects are negotiated. As such, the ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers is essential. Package: * Salary in the region of £30,000 – £40,000 * Car allowance * Standard company benefits
