Job Title: Electrical Supervisor - HV / Substation Projects Location: Vanguard East/West, PE37 8EG Client: Leading OEM within Power & Energy (Grid Infrastructure) Start Date: 01/06/26 End Date: 31/08/27 Duration: Long-term contract (approx. 3,270 hours or 14 months) Hours: 50 hours per week (10 hours per day, Monday start) Type: Contract Rates: LTD / Umbrella: First 37 Hours: £39.00 per hour After 37 Hours / First 4 Saturday: £41.34 per hour After 4 Hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holiday: £45.06 per hour PAYE: First 37 Hours: £28.85 per hour After 37 Hours / First 4 Saturday: £30.58 per hour After 4 Hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holiday: £33.34 per hour The Role: We are looking to engage an experienced Electrical Supervisor to support delivery across major HV infrastructure and substation projects. This role will see you working closely with the Site Manager, taking responsibility for coordinating site teams and driving works across multiple work fronts. This is a hands-on supervisory role within live power environments, requiring strong planning, leadership, and safety awareness. Key Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate small teams across electrical installation work fronts Ensure all works are delivered on time, within quality standards, and to budget Forward plan labour, materials, plant, and engineering requirements Work closely with site management to manage programme and mitigate delays Maintain strict adherence to QEHS procedures and site safety rules Coordinate with other contractors to ensure safe and efficient site operations Assist with documentation, reporting, and project milestone trackingExperience Required: Electrical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) Minimum: 1+ year supervisory experience, OR 2+ years site experience within power / construction environments Strong background in electrical installation within substations, HVDC, or power generation Experience working on Electricity Supply Industry (ESI) projects Proven ability to lead teams and manage site activitiesEssential Qualifications & Tickets: NG Person CSCS / CCNSG Safety Passport SSSTS or SMSTS (SMSTS preferred) First Aid at Work (3 Day) IPAF / MEWP Temporary Works Supervisor HSG47 (Underground Services) Manual Handling & Working at Height Fire Safety AwarenessKey Attributes: Strong leadership and team coordination skills Proactive and solutions-driven mindset Ability to work independently and within a wider delivery team Good IT skills (Word, Excel, reporting tools) Effective communicator across all site levelsAdditional Info: Weekly timesheets (Time & Expense model) Compliance checks may include Medical and Drugs & Alcohol testing Work history referencingApply: If you're an experienced Electrical Supervisor with HV / substation experience, particularly across National Grid or HVDC projects, get in touch immediately.
