Assistant Site Manager

We are seeking an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of high-quality commercial fit-out projects in Fulham. Working closely with the Site Manager and project team, you will help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required standards. Key Responsibilities * Assist in the day-to-day management of site operations * Support coordination of subcontractors and trades on-site * Monitor progress against programme and report updates to senior management * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies * Conduct site inductions and toolbox talks * Help manage site logistics, materials, and deliveries * Maintain quality control and ensure works meet specifications * Assist with site documentation, including RAMS, permits, and reports * Liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers as required * Identify and escalate potential delays or issues Requirements * Previous experience in a construction or fit-out environment (ideally commercial interiors) * Good understanding of construction processes and site operations * Knowledge of UK health & safety regulations (e.g. CDM Regulations) * Strong communication and organisational skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines * Proficient in basic IT systems (e.g. MS Office) Qualifications (Preferred) * NVQ Level 3–6 in Construction Management or similar * SMSTS or SSSTS certification * CSCS Card * First Aid at Work Key Skills * Team coordination * Problem-solving * Attention to detail * Time management * Proactive attitude
