?? £31,000 £50,000 (depending on experience) About the Company This is an opportunity to join a well-established and growing ecological consultancy with multiple offices across the UK. The Role Theyre looking for a Consultant Ecologist (or more senior) to join the team. This role offers the chance to: Lead and contribute to a variety of ecological projects
Support and mentor more junior team members
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Play a key role in delivering high-quality consultancy work
A bat licence would be highly beneficial for this position. What Theyre Looking For Essential: Degree in Ecology or a related field
~3+ years experience in ecological consultancy
Experience with project delivery and some level of team or line management
Strong understanding of environmental legislation and policy
Good report writing skills and experience reviewing technical reports
Experience with Ecological Impact Assessments
GIS and database management experience
Ability to build and manage client relationships
Full, clean driving licence
Membership with CIEEM (or working towards appropriate level)
Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in a relevant subject
Protected species licences (e.g. bats, GCN)
Specialism in areas such as ornithology or bats
Experience as an EPS licence holder
Interest or experience in habitat creation and biodiversity enhancement
