Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, supporting delivery on a major infrastructure programme. This role will focus on the substations package, playing a key part in managing commercial performance across complex, high-value works. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute QS with strong NEC expertise and a background in infrastructure or energy projects. Key Responsibilities: Commercial management of the substations package within a major programme Administration of NEC contracts (Option C) Detailed management of Defined Cost and Compensation Events Cost forecasting, reporting, and risk management Supporting project delivery teams to ensure commercial efficiency and compliance Stakeholder engagement across client, contractor, and supply chainRequirements: Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor on major infrastructure or energy projects Ideally demonstrable experience working on substations or similar power/utility projects Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts, particularly Option C High level of competence in Defined Cost and Compensation Event processes Commercially driven with strong analytical and negotiation skills Ability to operate effectively within a collaborative project environmentWhat's on Offer: Opportunity to work on a high-profile, nationally significant programme Collaborative and forward-thinking commercial team environment Competitive salary and benefits packageIf you are a Senior QS with the right technical expertise and are looking to work on a complex and rewarding infrastructure project, we'd like to hear from you.
