About the role

Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering our client who are looking to appoint a Business Development Manager. The role will be to drive business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the company’s customer base. location will be in and around their Scottish Operations Key Responsibilities • Identify and develop new business opportunities (markets, clients, partnerships) • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders • Develop and implement strategic business development plans • Generate leads and convert them into long-term customers • Conduct market research to identify trends and competitor activity • Prepare proposals, presentations, and pitches • Negotiate contracts and close deals • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams • Track performance metrics and report on revenue growth • Attend networking events, conferences, and meetings Key Skills & Competencies • Strong sales and negotiation skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Strategic thinking and problem-solving • Relationship-building and networking skills • Commercial awareness and business acumen • Ability to work independently and meet targets • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision making Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field • Proven experience in sales, business development, or similar role (typically 3–7+ years) • Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets Performance Metrics • Revenue growth • Number of new clients acquired • Lead conversion rate • Pipeline value and deal closure rate • Client retention and satisfaction To apply for this position please click on the link below
