Fire Door Carpenter

Please note you must have a blue CSCS card and qualificiation in carpentry to be considered for this role. A leader in the provision of fire protection services and works is looking for experienced fire door carpenters to join their team. You will be working on a large project, carrying out upgrades and maintenance works too existing doors and frames. The works will be based on one site in Derby and run for around 2 weeks. . The successful candidate will have: * At least two year’s experience working with fire doors * A strong background in carpentry and joinery * Excellent technical knowledge of fire door compliance * NVQ or equivalent in carpentry * Experience upgrading and remediating existing doors and frames * Experience working on FRA contracts Roles and responsibilities * Carrying out remedial works to new and existing fire doors * Complete works in line with the manufacture’s specification * Document works on a step-by-step basis, ensuring evidence is taken accurately * Problem solving and being able to overcome unforeseen issues with the work What's on offer? * Fire door remedial works * Self-employed works on a CIS basis * £220.00 per day based on 8 hrs worked This vacancy is due to run for around 2 weeks and starts from Monday 11th May.
