Join a leading engineering consultancy delivering high-impact infrastructure projects across London . Work on rail, power, roads, and urban development programmes , providing mechanical and electrical subcontract services into large-scale, multi-million-pound projects .
We're looking for proactive, commercial minded Quantity Surveyors who aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. You'll be a confident communicator , able to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and project teams, while keeping a clear focus on budgets, risks, and commercial outcomes. You're personable, hands-on, and solution-focused, thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where every decision counts.
The Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll take ownership of commercial management across diverse infrastructure programmes , ensuring costs are controlled, risks are mitigated, and projects are delivered to the highest standard. You'll work on-site and in the London office, supporting teams across design, procurement, and delivery , using NEC contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Manage budgets, contracts, and commercial risks on complex projects
Deliver cost control and commercial reporting across rail, power, and infrastructure programmes
Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet financial and operational targets
Work on-site across London and/or in the office near St Paul's (3 days per week)
Requirements
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in mechanical/electrical or multidisciplinary infrastructure projects
Strong NEC contract knowledge and commercial acumen
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to work across multiple projects during design and delivery phases
