About the role

Multi Trades Recruitment is looking for 7.5T Drivers to begin work for a well-established company in the St Albans / Hertfordshire area. About the role: * Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 10am–1pm start (10 hours per day) * Pay Rate – £15–£20 per hour * Safely operate a 7.5 tonne recovery truck or beavertail vehicle to collect and transport broken down or damaged vehicles. * Provide roadside assistance including jump starts, battery support, refuelling assistance and basic recovery services. * Load and secure vehicles using winches, straps and wheel restraints to ensure safe transportation. * Recover vehicles from breakdowns, accidents or non-start situations in a range of roadside conditions. * Transport vehicles locally and nationwide, including prestige, standard and accident-damaged vehicles. * Complete daily vehicle checks (tyres, lights, winch equipment, hydraulic systems) to maintain roadworthiness. * Ensure compliance with driver hours, tachograph regulations and health & safety procedures. * Deliver excellent customer service when dealing with motorists, insurers and garages. * Plan routes efficiently for emergency callouts and scheduled collections/deliveries. * Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and report any defects promptly. * Long-term work for the right candidate (temp to perm) * Start: ASAP About You: * High work ethic & team player * Punctual & reliable * You must be a time served/qualified 7.5T Driver (C1 Licence) * Valid tachograph card required Please apply with your CV.
