Working in a mature, agile environment, our SCRUM teams work synchronously with our customers to solve some of the toughest digital challenges faced in the world today. /n /n Role & Responsibilities /n Work as a Platform Engineer, deploying applications and software to cloud or on-prem environments for our many business areas. /n /n Due to the interesting work we do and the sector this team is working in, we require all candidates to be willing to attain an eDV clearance. /n /n - /nBuilding and setting up development tools and infrastructure/n /n - /nUnderstand the needs of project stakeholders/n /n - /nAutomate and improve development and release processes/n /n - /nEnsure that systems are safe and secure against cyber security threats/n /n - /nIdentify technical problems and develop software updates and solutions/n /n - /nWork with other engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended /n /n/n /n Required experience /n /n - /n Experience of working in an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery model/n /n - /nCloud technologies (AWS or Azure)/n /n - /nInfrastructure as code e.g. Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc./n /n - /nExperience in building and deploying large-scale applications in/n /n - /nContinuous Integration/Delivery pipelines;/n /n - /nContainer platform and orchestration systems ECS, AKS,/n /n - /nKubernetes/helm/Docker/n /n - /nExperience in automation and integration tools such as Jenkins,/n /n - /nConcourse CI or cloud equivalents/n /n - /nExperience in scripting languages and source control /n /n
