The ONE SAIL (Shipping Apprenticeship & International Learning) program is your solution!
In this 2 year program, you will have the opportunity to learn about the container industry from both a theoretical and practical perspective while at the same time gathering international experience.
What You Will Do:
Over the course of 24 months, you will rotate through core business functions to gain a 360-degree view of our business operations. These rotations include:
● Customer Service: Managing the client journey and ensuring seamless communication.
● Finance: Understanding the economic drivers and fiscal management of global shipping.
● Operations: Mastering the logistics of vessel movements and cargo handling.
● Sales: Developing the skills to grow our market presence and build lasting partnerships.
What You Will Learn:
The SAIL program is more than just on-the-job training; it is a comprehensive curriculum designed to build your business acumen. You will participate in specialised workshops and courses covering:
● Industry Foundations & Compliance including shipping fundamentals, international trade, and vessel/cargo specifications, knowledge of customs and global trade regulations
● Professional Excellence, which involves project management, presentation delivery, and remote collaboration.
● Personal Development, whereby we will provide tools to take ownership of the learning journey including personal branding, career navigation and emotional resilience.
● Global Mindset, including cultural awareness training and international networking opportunities.
