Make a Real Difference to a young person in Denbighshire as a Step-Forward Foster Carer

Across Denbighshire, children and young people are ready to move on from residential care and into stable and nurturing family fostering arrangements.

As a Step-Forward Foster Carer with Foster Wales Denbighshire, you could provide that stability, welcoming a young person into your home, and helping them feel supported, cared for and ale to forward with confidence.

If you have professional experience in care, education, health, youth justice, or similar roles, you may already have the skills that matter. This is an opportunity to use that experience in a more meaningful and lasting way.

Who we are looking for:

• Individuals or couples able to provide full-time care within their home
• Over 21 and with the legal Right to Remain in the UK
• A spare bedroom or bedrooms that can be dedicated to fostering
• Experience in supporting children, young people, or adults, particularly those with complex or challenging needs
• No other children under 16 within the household

What You Will Receive

• £1,000 per week when a child is in your care (up to £52,000 per year)
• Additional allowances plus extra for birthdays, holidays and cultural events
• Ongoing trauma-informed training, guidance, and intensive support
