Preconstruction Manager

Overview A leading, design‑led commercial fit‑out contractor is seeking an ambitious Pre‑Construction professional to join its growing team. This role offers a clear pathway toward a senior leadership position for the right individual and would suit someone with strong technical ability, commercial acumen, and the confidence to engage directly with clients. The business is open to candidates from commercial fit‑out or M&E contracting backgrounds, provided they have the capability and desire to adapt their skill set to a full turnkey delivery model. Key Responsibilities Preparing accurate cost plans, estimates, and tender submissions for commercial fit‑out projects Participating in pre‑construction strategy, value engineering, and bid presentations Working closely with senior internal stakeholders across design, delivery, and commercial teams Engaging confidently with clients during pitches, interviews, and pre‑contract meetings Supporting the development of best‑practice estimating and pre‑construction processes Building long‑term relationships with supply chain and consultants About You Proven experience as an Estimator or Pre‑Construction professional within commercial fit‑out or M&E contracting Highly intelligent, commercially aware, and quick to learn new methodologies Ambitious and career‑driven, with long‑term aspirations toward Technical Director or equivalent senior roles Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; comfortable pitching and client‑facing Energetic, proactive, and eager to grow within a high‑performance environment What's on Offer Competitive salary up to £100,000 for the right candidate Clear progression and development plan toward senior leadership Opportunity to work on high‑quality, design‑led commercial projects Supportive environment with exposure to clients and strategic decision‑making Eden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer
