Are you an experienced Fire Safety professional with a background in Assessing and Internal Quality Assurance, looking to step into a leadership role where you can shape and develop a high-performing training team?
On offer is a rare and exciting opportunity to take ownership of assessment and IQA delivery within a nationally recognised fire safety organisation. You will lead from the front as the go-to expert, managing a team of Assessors and IQAs while ensuring all assessment practices meet awarding body and regulatory standards.

On offer is a hybrid, home-based role where you will oversee assessment strategy, manage quality assurance processes, and support the development of both learners and internal teams. You will lead standardisation activities, monitor performance, and work closely with awarding organisations to ensure the highest level of compliance and quality.
This role would suit someone with extensive fire safety experience and a strong background in assessment and IQA, who is looking to move into a leadership position with long-term progression and the opportunity to shape training delivery at a strategic level.
The Role:
*Lead and manage the Assessor & IQA team
*Oversee assessment and internal quality assurance strategy
*Ensure compliance with awarding body and EQA standards
*Conduct sampling, auditing, and monitoring of assessment decisions
*Drive standardisation and continuous improvement across training programmes
*Mentor, coach, and develop team members to achieve high performance
*Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
The Person:
*Strong background in Fire Safety (10+ years experience)
*Holds Assessor and IQA qualifications
*Previous experience leading or mentoring teams
*Background in training, education, or qualification delivery
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Passionate about quality, development, and continuous improvement
