Quantity Surveyor Warrington £45,000 – £55,000 * A leading M&E contractor based in Warrington is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor with around 4–5 years’ experience to join their commercial team. With an annual turnover of circa £65m, the business delivers projects across the UK within residential, commercial, data centre, and healthcare sectors. * Projects range from major schemes up to approximately £50m through to smaller works in the £5m–£10m range, offering strong exposure across a varied portfolio. * The role would suit a Quantity Surveyor from a general construction background looking to develop on larger, more technically complex projects. Previous M&E experience would be beneficial, but is not essential. * The Commercial Manager has recently joined the business and is in the process of building and shaping a new commercial team. This makes it an excellent time to join — offering the chance to learn, develop under fresh leadership, and play a key role in influencing how the team and function evolve moving forward. Key Responsibilities * Supporting commercial management from pre-construction through to final account * Preparing valuations, cost reports, and assisting with final accounts * Subcontractor procurement and account management * Monitoring budgets, variations, and cost performance * Working closely with project teams to manage commercial delivery * Assisting with forecasting and commercial reporting Requirements * 4–5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor * Background in construction * Experience working with NEC forms of contract * M&E experience beneficial but not essential * Strong commercial awareness and cost control ability * Good communication and organisational skills * Keen to progress and take on more responsibility What’s On Offer * Salary £40,000 – £55,000 depending on experience * Exposure to projects up to £50m * Varied sector experience across residential, commercial, data centres, and healthcare * Opportunity to join at a key stage as the commercial team is being built * Long-term progression as the team and business continue to grow * Strong pipeline of secured work Apply If you’re interested in this opportunity, please apply with a copy of your CV or get in touch with our Commercial Specialist, Jane Fairhurst
