The role of Waiter/Waitress

Customer Service Excellence:

• Provide warm and welcoming service to all guests.
• Assist guests in menu selections, offering recommendations when necessary.
• Ensure a seamless and delightful experience for every guest.

Order Management:

• Take accurate and detailed orders from guests, catering to individual preferences.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely and precise order preparation.
• Handle special requests and dietary requirements with efficiency and attention.

Table Maintenance:

• Set up dining areas with attention to detail, including table settings and cleanliness.
• Monitor and manage the flow of service, clearing tables promptly to maintain a tidy and inviting atmosphere.
• Assist in restocking and organizing station as needed.

Product Knowledge:

• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage offerings.
• Stay informed about daily specials, promotions, and any changes to the menu.

Upselling and Promotion:

• Promote additional items, specials, and food pairings to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Upsell when appropriate to increase sales and guest satisfaction.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and support staff to maintain a cohesive and coordinated operation.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress is preferred but, not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
