Senior Quantity Surveyor – Construction £60,000 - £70,000 East Kent Factory-Based with Regular Site Travel Permanent - Full Time We are working with an established off site construction business in East Kent to recruit an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of commercial performance across multiple live projects. This is a key role for a commercially strong QS who enjoys being hands on, visible within the business, and regularly involved on site. The Role Full ownership of CVRs, forecasting and cost control Managing projects from order through to final account Control of labour (factory & site), materials and subcontractor costs Driving margin protection, cash flow and risk management Leading commercial discussions with clients, consultants and main contractors Close collaboration with Finance, Production, Design, Construction and Estimating teams Mentoring junior QS/commercial staff and embedding commercial discipline The Ideal Candidate Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior QS within construction Strong CVR, forecasting and contract knowledge (JCT or similar) Experience managing multiple live projects Commercially driven, pragmatic and confident communicator Timber frame or off site experience advantageous but not essential Typically, 10–20 years’ experience with ambition to progress Location & Package Based from a East Kent manufacturing facility Regular regional site travel Competitive salary (DOE) Company phone, laptop and salary sacrifice car scheme Long term opportunity within a growing and stable business Westin Par values diversity and promotes equality.
