Electrical Project Manager (Retail & Supermarket fit-out) Hybrid (Office-based / Site Visits / Home-working) Salary - Up to £60,000 per annum + Car or Car Allowance Sector - Electrical Contracting - Specialist Retail Division Company My client is a leading multi-technical services provider specialising in large-scale electrical installations, maintenance, and fit-outs for some of the UK’s most recognisable retail brands. With a reputation for precision and reliability, they pride themselves on delivering complex projects within live retail environments. Due to continued growth within their supermarket and commercial sectors, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join the team. The Role As an Electrical Project Manager, you will take full ownership of electrical fit-out projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, specifically focusing on supermarket and high-street retail environments. Key Responsibilities: * Manage multiple electrical fit-out projects simultaneously across various retail sites. * Act as the primary point of contact for blue-chip retail clients, ensuring high satisfaction and clear communication. * Oversee project budgets, procurement of materials, and labor allocation to ensure maximum profitability. * Manage on-site teams and subcontractors, ensuring all work adheres to IET Wiring Regulations and strict Health & Safety standards. * Coordinate with internal design and estimating teams to refine project scopes and technical requirements. * Conduct site surveys, progress meetings, and final handovers. The Person This role requires a technical expert who understands the fast-paced nature of the retail sector. You must be comfortable working in live environments and managing the unique logistics associated with supermarket night-shifts and phased roll-outs. Required Experience & Qualifications: * Proven track record as a Project Manager within the Electrical sector. * Significant experience in Retail or Supermarket fit-outs. * Strong technical background (e.g., NVQ Level 3, Gold Card, or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering). * Working knowledge of the latest 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. * SMSTS or SSSTS and a valid CSCS/JIB Card. * Excellent commercial acumen with experience in P&L management and reporting.
