Sales / Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales/Service Advisor position at a reputable independent business in Edinburgh (West). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled, customer-focused professional to join a dynamic team within a busy automotive environment. Benefits of a Sales/Service Advisor: Basic salary up to £25,000 per annum Bonus potential of up to £560 per month (OTE £31,720) Monday to Friday working hours, 9am–5pm (37.5 hours) Full training and ongoing support Career progression opportunities within the branch network No weekend work, allowing for a healthy work-life balanceDuties of a Sales/Service Advisor: Provide outstanding customer service at the counter, over the phone, and via email Advise customers on a range of products and services Accurately take customer orders and manage bookings for trailer hire, towbar fitting, and workshop services Ensure stock is received, displayed, and presented to maximise sales Support workshop team with workflow coordination and updates Handle cash, banking, invoicing, and credit transactions accurately Maintain administration and filing systems to company standards Uphold Health & Safety regulations and maintain a professional, tidy working environmentRequirements of a of a Sales/Service Advisor: Proven experience in a sales, service, or customer-facing role Strong communication and organisational skills Ability to handle sales transactions and basic administration confidently Customer-centric attitude with proactive sales approach Full UK driving licence is essential Forklift licence desirable; training can be providedIf you are an experienced Sales/Service Advisor, or possess strong customer service and sales skills with an interest in the automotive or trailer industry, we encourage you to apply.
