We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent workshop based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, seeking a highly skilled Classic Car Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a person with extensive experience to work on some truly iconic vehicles in a relaxed, family-friendly environment. Benefits for the successful Classic Car Technician: Competitive basic salary of £45,000 per annum Flexible working hours with no weekend work Opportunity to work on a variety of classic and vintage vehicles, mainly Porsche models Supportive team environment with experienced technicians Opportunities for ongoing training and development in specialised automotive restorationDuties of the Classic Car Technician: Servicing and repairing classic and vintage cars, predominantly  from the 70s, 80s, and 90s Conducting routine maintenance and mechanical work with a focus on attention to detail Engine rebuilding and thorough diagnostics Assisting with vehicle restoration projects, excluding bodywork Providing expert support and advice for customers and club members Working alongside a dedicated team with a passion for classic vehiclesRequirements of the Classic Car Technician: At least 10 years' post-apprenticeship experience in automotive repair Proven background working with classic or specialised vehicles, ideally Porsche Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in engine rebuilds and routine servicing Ability to work methodically and independently, with excellent attention to detail Comfortable working on multiple projects for extended periods with patience and precision as a Classic Car Technician Open to s with experience in other brands such as Ford or similar, provided they have a sensible head and automotive expertise If you are looking for a role where you can utilise your skills on unique classics in a friendly workspace, this could be the perfect fit.
