Technical Accounting Manager

​WPR is working with a growing Lloyd's insurer based in London who are looking for a dedicated Technical Accounting Manager to strengthen their team. This is a permanent role that offers the chance to work within a supportive environment, where your expertise in technical accounting and policy will be highly valued. You will be responsible for providing authoritative technical guidance, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and facilitating accounting and finance change initiatives. You'll be making sure all reporting is compliant with UK/US GAAP, IFRS, Solvency 2 etc and performing technical reviews of all the statutory and regulatory reporting.Key skills and requirements:Experience as a Technical Accounting Policy role, specifically in the insurance industry (or an insurance audit background)Qualified AccountantStrong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements (IFRS, GAAP Solvency 2 etc.)Excellent communication skills to liaise across teams and stakeholdersProven ability to interpret complex technical issues clearly and accuratelyPlease apply if you're interested to hear more!Mahidur Rahman – (s): Change & Transformation
