Job Title: KS2 Primary Teacher (QTS)

Location: East London

School Type: Primary School

Start Date: Immediate

Duration: Long-term (potential to go permanent)

Salary: £170 to £220 per day

Education:

A recognised UK teaching qualification is required, with a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 national curriculum. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver structured, engaging lessons that support pupil progress and attainment.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Strong knowledge of the UK Key Stage 2 curriculum

Experience:

• Proven experience teaching within a UK primary school setting
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (Year 3 to Year 6)
• Experience preparing pupils for SATs (desirable)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Experience differentiating learning to meet a range of needs, including SEND

Job Specifics:

This role involves full classroom responsibility within a Key Stage 2 setting. The successful candidate will be expected to plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum, ensuring pupils are supported to achieve their full potential. There will be a strong focus on core subjects including English and Maths, alongside wider curriculum delivery.

Key teaching expectations include maintaining high standards of behaviour, creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment, and consistently monitoring pupil progress through effective assessment. The role also includes contributing to the wider school community, including parental engagement and potential extracurricular activities.
