Pertemps are working with our public sector client to recruit a Part-Time Business Support Administrator on a temporary basis.


Location: Edinburgh (Hybrid)
Hours: Monday to Friday (26 hours per week)

Pay Rate: £14.51 per hour
Duration: Temporary ongoing
Start Date: Mid July

Are you organised, detail-oriented and looking for a varied administrative role? We're looking for a Business Support Administrator to join the Quality Assurance & Advice Team, providing essential administrative support in a busy office environment.

About the Role
As part of the team, you'll be responsible for a range of administrative duties, ensuring enquiries are managed efficiently and records are kept up to date.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing shared inboxes, responding to queries and processing requests
  • Accurate data entry and updating internal systems
  • Using Microsoft Word, Excel and internal software to support day-to-day administration
  • Raising procurement orders through internal systems 
  • Running ad hoc reports as required
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider team
What We're Looking For
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively as part of a team
