Job Title: Yard Operative Location: Liverpool Salary: £12.76 per hour plus regular overtime Job type: Permanent, Full Time Working hours: Monday - Friday 07.30am - 4:30pm plus regular overtime (Saturday mornings 08.00am - 12.30pm paid at time and a half). About The Role: An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Yard Operative to join our team in Wavertree, Liverpool. The Yard Operative will assist in the running of a busy builder's yard. Key Responsibilities Include: Serve customers quickly and efficiently Collate orders for delivery Receive and check incoming deliveries Ensure paperwork is accurate Assist with regular stock takes Maintain standards of cleanliness and safety within the working environment Undertake any reasonable task from time to time at the Branch Manager's request as may be deemed appropriate within the scope of the postAbout you: You must have a Forklift Licence An understanding of general building, roofing and timber materials Flexible 'can-do' attitude Ability to provide excellent customer service Able to work effectively in a team or alone under own initiative Strong communication skills Experience cutting timber to size desirable but not essentialPlease click APPLY to submit your CV for this role.
