Associate / Associate Director to Lead Healthcare Teams
Location: London (1 day wfh)
Salary: c£60,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience
A mid-sized architectural practice, expanding its healthcare portfolio across the UK, is seeking an experienced Associate or Associate ARB Director. The successful candidate will be hands-on yet able to lead multiple small teams, delivering projects through all RIBA stages while contributing to the practice's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead healthcare projects from concept to completion, managing all RIBA stages.
Manage and mentor teams of architects and designers, ensuring high-quality outputs.
Maintain hands-on proficiency in Revit, as required, to support project delivery.
Confidently lead client and stakeholder meetings, providing clear design direction.
Oversee on-site activities, coordinating with contractors and consultants.
Proactively contribute to business growth candidates with experience in securing new projects may be eligible for a bonus.Requirements:
ARB-registered Architect with significant experience in UK healthcare projects.
Proven experience across all RIBA stages.
Strong proficiency in Revit, with a willingness to work hands-on when required.
Demonstrable leadership and people management skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of contributing to a growing practice.
Experience in business development is highly desirable candidates are encouraged to highlight this in their application.
