Structural BIM Technician

BIM Technician - Structural / Building BIM We're currently looking for an experienced BIM Technician to join a project team supporting the delivery and coordination of detailed design and construction information. The role will involve developing and managing 2D and 3D BIM models, producing high-quality construction drawings, and ensuring models and documentation are accurate, coordinated and compliant with project requirements. Key responsibilities: Develop and maintain 2D & 3D BIM models and technical drawings Use Bentley MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer Support BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design teams Carry out model reviews, audits and clash detection Work in line with BIM standards, BEPs and project information requirements Support the management of information within a Common Data Environment (CDE) Assist with resolving technical and coordination issues Ensure project deliverables meet required quality, accuracy and programme standardsAbout you: HNC/HND in Engineering, Design or a related discipline Strong experience with 3D modelling and BIM Proficient in MicroStation and OpenBuildings Designer Understanding of BIM coordination, clash detection and model standards Good attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEden Brown is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy
