The successful candidate will have experience of conducting tendering processes within a public sector organisation and therefore have good knowledge of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.You will be a skilled negotiator, able to influence and manage internal customer expectations as well as maintaining good supplier relationships. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, be results focussed with a track record of savings and benefits delivery. Manages high-quality procurement and materials management services, supporting Cost Improvement Plan (CIP) targets and delivering value, savings, and quality improvements.Builds effective relationships with clinical, operational, and commercial stakeholders to secure best-value procurement solutions and ensure contractual requirements are met. Leads strategic sourcing, supplier management, and contract management activities within designated spend areas.Works with the Head of Procurement to monitor procurement and supply chain performance, contributing to reports for Trust committees and boards.
