Scrub/ODP | Theatres | Spire Shawfair Park Hospital | Fixed Term 12 months | Full Time | Excellent Salary and Benefits Package Spire Shawfair Park Hospital is seeking an experienced Theatre Practitioner or ODP to join our theatre team on fixed term basis Located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, Spire Shawfair Park Hospital is a purpose-built private hospital offering a wide range of diagnostic, surgical and outpatient services. Duties and Responsibilities Assist in scrubbing for consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism, such as orthopaedics ou will assess patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload. Develop care plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration the care pathway, perioperative risks and their wellbeing Provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre Assist in scrubbing for consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism, such as orthopaedics You will assess patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload. Develop care plans that are appropriate to the patient, taking into consideration the care pathway, perioperative risks and their wellbeing Provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in the operating theatre Who We're Looking For HCPC-registered ODP or NMC-registered Nurse. Scrub experience Excellent communication and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
