Site Agent - Shaft Sinking / Tunnelling Location: Otterbourne Rate: £350 per day Duration: 12‑month contract Our client is currently seeking an experienced Site Agent to work on a shaft sinking and tunnelling package on a water treatment site in Otterbourne. This is a long‑term opportunity on a technically challenging project, suitable for someone with a strong background in water treatment, utilities, or tunnelling works. Key Responsibilities: Managing daily site operations on shaft sinking and tunnelling works Coordinating subcontractors, labour, plant, and materials Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification Maintaining high standards of H&S, quality, and environmental compliance Liaising with engineers, project managers, and client representatives Supporting planning, permits, RAMS, and progress reporting Requirements: Proven experience as a Site Agent on shaft sinking, tunnelling, utilities, or water treatment projects Strong understanding of water / wastewater environments Excellent knowledge of H&S and site management procedures SMSTS (essential) CSCS (essential) Temporary Works knowledge (advantageous) What's on Offer: £350 per day 12‑month contract with potential for extension Long‑term work on a major water infrastructure schemeIf you're an experienced Site Agent with the relevant experience and certifications, please apply below, alternatively please get in touch for further details, contact details can be found in the profile section
