Senior innovations Technologist (Beverages)

Job DescriptionThis role requires a highly organised and proactive Innovations Technologist to assist in the end-to-end product development and commercialisation process for products manufactured at our sites.Main Responsibilities:Work with Senior Innovations Technologist and/or NPD Manager on Customer Briefs to assisting in the preparation and dispatch of samples Prepare samples in a hygienic and accurate mannerPrepare paperwork to accompany samples (Labels, Submission Sheets, Sample Advice Notes)Enter recipes on FDL systemWork with NPD Manager/ Head of Lab to assess the suitability to assess new raw materialsFollowing the Lab Health and Safety procedures, use equipment in an appropriate mannerUnderstand relevant factory processes and attend factory trials and product launches.Assist with shelf-life trials to set microbiological and organoleptic standardsSupport with visits from customersSupport the Innovation Team in projects as requiredSkills & Abilities:Positive attitude and willingness to learnExcellent communication skillsAbility to handle multiple projects and work under pressure.Accuracy.Flexibility to travel to other sites, sometimes at short notice.Education & Experience:Educated to degree level in Food Science or Technology or similarIndustry experience (including as part of a degree)Knowledge of Food hygiene and HACCP#IncludingYouDiversity, equity, inclusion and belonging are cornerstones of ADM’s efforts to continue innovating, driving growth, and delivering outstanding performance.
