Head of Pre-Construction

Location: London & Home Counties Salary: £75,000 – £90,000 + package Our client is a respected main contractor delivering a wide range of new build, residential, and refurbishment projects. They are now looking to appoint a Head of Pre-Construction to lead their front-end delivery and work-winning function. The Role You will lead all pre-construction activities, managing bids, design coordination, and client engagement to secure and shape future projects. Key Responsibilities Leading the pre-construction and bid management function Managing tender submissions, programmes, and cost planning Overseeing design development and coordination Building and maintaining client and consultant relationships Driving work-winning strategy and pipeline growth Managing and mentoring pre-construction team members Requirements Proven experience in a senior pre-construction or bid leadership role Strong background in new build, residential, and refurbishment projects Excellent commercial and technical understanding Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills Package £75,000 – £90,000 salary 25 days annual leave 5% pension Discretionary bonus scheme Opportunity to shape and grow a pre-construction function
