Chartered Building Surveyor – Birmingham We are working with a leading independent property consultancy to appoint Chartered Building Surveyors into their Birmingham office. This is an opportunity to join a well-established consultancy with a strong commercial client base, delivering a broad range of professional and project-led surveying services across the commercial property sector. The role will suit MRICS Building Surveyors who have experience operating within a consultancy environment and are confident delivering both technical work and client-facing services. Key Requirements * MRICS (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is essential * Proven experience working within a consultancy environment * Strong commercial building surveying background * Experience across contract administration, dilapidations and technical due diligence * Good working knowledge of building contracts in a commercial setting * Strong report writing and communication skills * Ability to manage and develop client relationships * Full UK driving licence Desirable * MAPM or working towards (project management exposure beneficial) * Experience delivering both professional services and project work * Commercially aware and comfortable working to fee targets The Role You will be involved in a wide range of building surveying duties across commercial property, including contract administration, technical due diligence, dilapidations, building pathology and general professional services. The role offers a balance of technical delivery and client interaction, with the opportunity to build relationships, contribute to business development and progress within a growing consultancy environment.
