location_onLondon, Greater LondonacutePermanentSenior Associate - Employment: LondonAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Associate to join a highly regarded and growing Employment practice within an established UK law firm.As a Senior Associate, you will take responsibility for your own caseload whilst working closely with Partners and colleagues across the wider firm.You will have the opportunity to advise a diverse client base on a broad range of employment matters, whilst playing an active role in the continued growth and development of the practice.Your responsibilities will include:Advising employers on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment mattersManaging your own matters with a high degree of autonomyDeveloping trusted, long-term relationships with clients and understanding their commercial objectivesAdvising clients strategically and providing clear, pragmatic and commercially focused solutionsSupervising and mentoring trainees and junior lawyersSupporting pitches, tenders and client proposalsYou are likely to have:Strong post-qualification experience in employment lawSignificant experience advising employers across a broad range of employment mattersExperience from a regional, or London based law firmThe ability to manage complex matters independently and take a strategic view of client objectivesExperience supervising, mentoring or developing junior lawyers and traineesA strong understanding of commercial and financial targetsExcellent drafting, communication and presentation skillsA proactive approach to business development and client relationship managementEssential QualificationsQualified Solicitor in England & Wales with a current practising certificateLaw degree (2:1 or above), or a non-law degree followed by the GDL/LPC routePlease reach out to Alice at LHH for more details.
