Health and Safety Manager - UK and EMEA Up to £75,000 plus Car Allowance and Benefits London-based (hybrid role, with travel as required) Are you passionate about creating safe, compliant workplaces across diverse environments? Irwin and Colton have partnered with a global retailer, who are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Manager to oversee health and safety across their UK and EMEA offices, retail locations, and distribution centres. The suitable Health and Safety professional will collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed best practices and ensure workplaces meet all legal and organisational standards. Additionally, the Health and Safety Manager will support sustainability initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement, as well as reporting to the Head of Facilities Management. Key Responsibilities for the Health and Safety Manager will be: Lead health & safety compliance efforts across all EMEA sites, including regular audits and risk assessments, assessing the outcomes and implementing improved strategy to resolve the negative outcomes. Manage duty of care within third-party distribution centres, commercial offices and retail stores, ensuring safety standards are upheld. Develop and implement safety policies in line with regional legislative requirements and best practices. Collaborate with HR, operational teams, and sustainability groups to embed environmental and employee wellbeing initiatives. Support incident investigations, drive corrective actions, and promote a proactive safety culture.Requirements and Skills from the Health and Safety Manager will be: Proven experience in health & safety management within complex, multi-site environments; heavily customer-facing (retail or hospitality) is key. Strong knowledge of UK and EU health and safety legislation, including risk assessment and compliance. Professional H&S qualification such as a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
