As a Repairs & Planned Works Surveyor in Manchester, you'll be focused on ensuring the smooth delivery of property maintenance and improvement projects within the not-for-profit sector. Your role will involve carrying out inspections, managing contractors, and ensuring that all works meet the required standards to keep properties safe and well-maintained. Client Details This organisation operates within the not-for-profit sector across the North West providing Housing Solutions Description Inspect properties to identify required repairs and planned works. Prepare detailed schedules of work and specifications for projects. Manage contractors to ensure timely and quality completion of works. Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented. Carry out pre- and post-inspections of completed works. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times. Provide regular progress updates to relevant stakeholders. Handle any issues or disputes that arise during the course of works.Profile A successful Repairs & Planned Works Surveyor should have: Strong knowledge of building maintenance and repair processes. Experience working within property or housing sectors. Proficiency in preparing specifications and managing contractors. Understanding of health and safety regulations in property works.
