Location: Chatham
Remuneration: £40,000 - £60,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Design Manager – Architectural Metalwork will involve:
· Design Manager position dealing with a range of steel fabrication and steelwork such as: secondary steelwork, specialist steelwork, staircases, balconies and balustrades
· Producing general arrangement drawings (GA's) and 3D models from engineer's designs
Liaising with clients, contractors, architects and Engineers in order to obtain any required information
Detailing both fabrication and prep drawings
Work closely with production team and design engineers to ensure drawings are suitable for on-site buildability and fabrication
Working on projects varying in value from £10k to £10m
The ideal applicant will be Design Manager – Architectural Metalwork with:
· Must have2D and 3D CAD experience
· Ideally have fabrication design experience and/or experience dealing with steelwork, metalwork, balconies, architectural metal, staircases, balustrades, handrails etc
· Capable of liaising with internal departments and customers
· IT literate (Microsoft office)
· Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
· xwzovoh Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
